HOSTING

All websites we create are hosted by Main Street Web Development. The monthly fee for hosting and phone support is $29.95, which we setup as recurring credit card payments.  If you prefer to pay by check, you can pay annually for a 10% discount.  Unlike cell phone carriers, we do not require a time-based contract for hosting.  You are free to cancel our services at any time, but we would be surprised if you did.

Main Street Web Development hosts our websites on a cluster-based, modern hosting service.  Our servers are scalable and can handle a traffic spike with ease.  Our basic monthly plan allows you up to 3G of storage, which is more than many websites will ever use.  We will also create an email address for you if you desire.  Should your website become the next international sensation and demand larger-than-life resources, we may need to create a customized hosting plan for you.

DOMAIN REGISTRATION

For new domains, we include your annual domain registration with the cost of your website.  If you have an existing domain name, we will work with your current registrar if you can provide a login and password.  You will be responsible for renewing that domain when it expires.  If you prefer to transfer your domain to our registrar, we will charge a $25 transfer fee and additional hourly fees if any problems should arise during the process.
